Website use and restrictions:


  • Permission is given for the downloading and temporary storage of one or more of these pages for the purpose of viewing on a personal computer or monitor.   • The terms and conditions of use of this website are governed by the laws of England & Wales and any dispute regarding this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts. Use of the website in Scotland and outside the UK will be subject to different laws. It is your responsibility to comply with the applicable law when using the website.




Force Majeure:


  • Standard legal interpretations of this clause may apply – effectively it means unforeseeable, usually severe circumstances that prevent someone from fulfilling a contract.


Cancellation and refund policy:


Training course bookings - Classroom / Face to face courses:

  • Due to limited seating, we require that you cancel at least 7 days before a scheduled course for individual bookings. For group bookings, 15 days notice is required prior to the course start date. This gives us the opportunity to fill the place, or for group bookings, cancel the venue. You may cancel by emailing us at If you must cancel your class, we offer you a credit to your account if you cancel within the aforementioned periods, but do not offer refunds. You may use these credits towards any future class of the same type & duration. However, if you do not cancel prior to the period stated before course start, you will lose part or all the payment for the class – see point 2. The Simplex Safety Solutions Limited senior management team has the only right to be flexible here.

  • You understand that you are holding a spot so reservations for this course are non-refundable under the conditions set out above. If you are unable to attend, you understand that you can transfer the place to a friend or colleague.

  • We only offer professional business courses and therefore by agreeing to these terms and conditions you are confirming that you are booking this course on a professional development basis and not as a consumer.

  • You agree to abide by all health and safety instructions and not put yourself and others at risk.

Distance / E-Learning / Online Courses - NEBOSH, IOSH & IEMA Courses:


Cancellation made before 30 days of the acceptance of your application

  • A refund of the full course fees paid is obtainable for cancellations received within 30 days following the acceptance of your application.

  • This is subject to the return, in good condition, of any printed materials supplied and the receipt of a written confirmation that any electronic copies of the materials have been destroyed within the 30-day period.

Cancellations made after 31 days but within 45 days

  • A 60% refund of the course fees is obtainable for cancellations received at any time within 45 days following the acceptance of your application. This is subject to the return, in good condition, of any printed materials supplied and the receipt of a written confirmation that any electronic copies of the materials have been destroyed within the 45-day period

Cancellations made after 46 days but within the learning period

  • Course fees are non refundable for cancellations after 46 days where a student has commenced a Unit of study. Study is deemed to have commenced from the date the student requests the materials. The student may be entitled to a refund of any assessment fees paid to us provided the cancellation is received before the student has been registered with the awarding body.

  • A 90% refund is available for any Units/Modules for which study has not commenced, where materials are on hold and have not been released on the Learning Centre. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 days of us receiving returned course materials.

  • Assessment Only A refund of any assessment fees paid to us is obtainable provided the cancellation is received before the student has been registered with the awarding body.

  • Where an exam/assessment has been confirmed and the delegate does not attend (without good reason) no refund will be available and the delegate will need to re-enrol on the course to activate a resit.

  • Revision and Reference Guides

  • Printed Materials Returned Within 14 Days

  • A refund of the full fee (excluding postage and packing) is obtainable for the return of printed materials within 14 days. This is subject to them being received in good condition within 14 days following the dispatch of the goods. Please note opened and used materials will not be accepted.

  • Electronic Material Returned Within 7 Days

  • A refund of the full fee is obtainable for the return of electronic materials within 7 days of us issuing the goods or access password. This is subject to a written confirmation that all copies have been destroyed.

Consultancy site visits:


  • You agree to give at least 14 days to cancel a site visit from one of our consultants. If less than 14 days notice is given, no refund of the booking fee will be given. You will however, have the opportunity to reschedule as below.


  • You agree to give at least 72 hours notice to reschedule a site visit from one of our consultants. If less than 72 hrs notice is given, we reserve the right to keep 50% of the booking fee.


Advisory services:


  • You agree that cancelling the advisory service within the 1-year minimum period does not cancel the fee. The contract length is 12 months and the fee is divided into monthly instalments for client convenience.
